Coincidental find.. Saw my name written in big letters on the glass window of the Onishi Gallery ( although it was more the American Beatrice name, mine derives from Portugal, Beatriz) and I immediately had to investigate what this exhibit was about. Suzy Kellems Dominik is the artist. She was inspired by Italian writer Dante and his Book Divide Comedy ( which I own ) where Dante travels through hell in search for his beloved Beatrice. Enjoy these pics all taken by me.

Knights and Unicorns at the Cloisters Castle
This was my second visit to the Cloisters Museum. Most of the art is about kings, religious figures, mystical creatures like unicorns, and beautiful indoor gardens with fountains. My favorite part of the museum was the center garden with the beautiful water fountain which reminded me of the description of the garden of Eden. I also loved a section arranged as a church with an altar and cross, and various wooden miniature chairs. Enjoy these pictures #bellabeatrizphotography 🙂

Dear Soho
Whenever I find some free time, I love to go explore Soho. There’s always something going on. The bf suggested I check out the San Gennaro Feast ( a street/food fair in Little Italy ). From there, I jetted onto my favorite crepe place, Eight Turn Crepes, and got my Leechee Valentine. Overall productive and fun day 😉
